Oh Christmas Tree

 I have been having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit this year.  I usually have my Christmas tree up and lit before the end of Thanksgiving Day.  This year it has taken a little longer, but it is finally up and glowing.  I don't mean to be a bah humbug.  I really do love the Christmas season.  It is just that this year has gone by so rapidly.  It would be really nice if it would so down just a little bit.  My kids are growing up so fast.  I wish we could just pause the game for a little while and enjoy where we are at.  Best wishes to all!

    So sparkly!

    I'm with you that time is too much on the fly these days. Life would be much nicer with a remote control. Pause for savoring the present, rewind for remembering the past, and fast forward to skip the difficult bits. Maybe even a channel changer to live someone else's life for a bit.
