We're Back

Just got back from a wonderful Yellowstone vacation. We traveled all last week with the Church family. We hiked, canoed, went swimming in the Maddison River, saw a play, camped, saw eagles, passed a buffalo on the highway, and grew together as a family. I love my family, and enjoyed every minute of the vacation. Now I can't wait for San Diego in September.

Baseball is finally over!

For the last 4 and a half months baseball has ruled our lives. Quade just finished the last game of All-Stars. His team didn't place, but I was so proud of Quade. He was terrific in the field at 2nd and short. His batting was very consistent. In the last game the team pitchers had too many pitches and were unable to complete the game. Quade was pulled off second to pitch for the team (this was the 1st time he pitched in a game the whole season.) He pitched 3 innings, 32 pitches, only 3 were balls. He did splendid! I was one proud mama.

P.S. It was fun to have Royd coach Allstars too. He's not to shabby.

Tyra Banks Watch Out!

I have America's Next Top Model staying at my house tonight! Mason is such a ham. I took her out thinking I would take photo's of her until she got too tired. I ended up with over 400 adorable photos. Thanks to Ladawna for the camera (that's a whole other story), Rich for the cool lens, Royd and Grandma for the entertainment (and superb apple picking), and Maridee for the gorgeous little girl, the photo shoot was a success. I learned so much. Now the biggest problem will be picking out the pix to print. You can see more of Mason on my hobby blog.

P.S. I also need to thank Kenni K for the fingernail polish. It was glam.
