Improvising

We have cousins at our house this week (Chayse, Ashton, Hunter, and Chandler.) It is so much fun! We have been wanting to get one of those out at outdoor porch fireplace thingys. We saw a bunch at Costco but nothing like what we want (okay they were all too expensive.) So when we got home Royd made his own redneck version. It worked great. Kids all roasted mellows and dogs. To make the experience complete thay all slept out in the camp trailer. We are so redneck!

Reese told Ladawna he was happy we used his poop bucket (his is on poop patrol at our house), now he has an excuse not to do his chore. Royd insists that it was not the poop bucket. I am not so sure. The hot dogs did have an interesting smoked flavor (JK):D

"Catch"-up

I need to "Catch" -up a bit on some highlights of the last couple of months. (Sorry, it was the best I could do to tie this cool picture in with this post.)

1st, our stud of a cousin (Toryen), invited us to Jump'n Jacks to celebrate his birthday. It was too much fun (I was so sore the next day.) Thanks Toryen for sharing you special day with us.

I haven't shown Royd this picture yet. He will be so proud of his boy.

For memorial day we went camping with the Jeffery family. We went to 1,000 lakes. I had never been there before. It was beautiful country. It rained, and rained, and the rained some more, but we had tonz of fun anyway.

We went fishing at Round Lake (yes in the rain) everyone caught one. Mom, Reese, and Dace ate them for dinner.

Camping Anyone?

Royd, and I have been talking. We miss camping with the family. We feel that our kids are missing out on some major bonding time. We want to go camping this Memorial Day. Would anyone be interested in going with us. After all It is no fun without those you love. It would be very low key. We don't know who would be coming so just bring what you would normally bring, and give us some company. We were thinking we would camp at our old Memorial Day stand by (Enterprise Reservoir.) Sunday Blues

I love to blog on Sunday. This Sunday I have nothing to blog about. Whats a girl to do?

P.S. Anyone have any suggestions on where I can shop for clothes for me. I need new summer wear. When ever I go shopping I always end up buying something for Taya instead of myself. Maybe it is because I know she will look cute in anything. Me on the other hand?
