The end of the year is rapidly approaching. Before I post about Christmas, I thought I would take the time to do a little update on everyone.
QUADE: Quade was chosen as a student in excellence for English this month. He is a super good student and always puts 100% into every thing he does. He has managed to keep a 4.0 all year. He plays the drum set for the high school jazz band, and is loving it. His football and baseball teams both took home championships.
REESE: Reese is a very talented artist. Drawing comes very natural to him, and his imagination has no limits. He seem to always impress me with the things that he can do. He is learning to play the cello, and plays percussion in the 6th grade band.
TAYA: Taya went on her first hunt this month. She absolutely loved it! She shot her first pheasant in the fanny. She continues to dance, and is turning into quite a lovely young lady.
DACE: Dace is becoming quite a good reader. He is picking it up very quickly. He also has a knack for numbers. He is currently working on 2nd grade level math at school.
ROYD: Royd is working his way to becoming Dr. Darrington. He is doing very well in, and I think enjoying, his doctorate program at BYU. He will be finished in about 2 years.
NATALIE: I am staying busy at work and home. In January, I will be starting my masters classes, and I am very nervous about how I am going to balance it all. I will also be working for the Utah State Office of Education. I will be going around the state teaching how to teach math. I hope to also keep learning the art of photography.

Wow! Your family is busy, busy, busy! Tell Reese that I'm a little jealous about the cello - it's on my list of instruments I'd love to learn - and that his minotaur is a-maze-ing. Sorry 'bout the pun; I just couldn't resist it. But seriously, I love he incorporated the theme into his picture.
ReplyDeleteI meant to call you for baby pictures, but the rooms were off limits except for immediate family due to flu season. I thought I could've gotten away with saying you were my sister, but well... honesty and all that. I would still love some fabulous pictures and could maybe trot on out to Enterprise sometime in the next two weeks, if you're not too busy with all your new enterprises. What are you getting your masters in?
