Reese's First Elk

Reese worked really hard this year to get his hunter safety permit, but he didn't draw out this year. Royd new how disappointed he was so they purchased a spike elk tag. They started out on a Saturday morning. By 8:30 Reese had tagged his elk. It took them 3+ hours to get the elk a mile or so back to the truck. Reese has a pretty good story to tell about his first experience with hunting. They got back to town in time for Reese to enjoy his free hamburger at the local restaurant for filling his tag. Good job Reese!

Punk'n Hunting

Conference weekend we had a blast! It was nice to have the other Darringtons (Rich), Johnsons, Gublers, Bud and Malawna, Grandma, and part of the Pickerings. We stayed up late the night before, eating snacks, visiting, playing dress-up, and enjoying each others company. Sunday we relaxed and watched conference, with a nice dinner in between sessions. After conference we headed to the pumpkin patch to pick out this years picks. It was tons of fun. We love having family over to visit!

Thanks Uncle Met

We recently re-poured our driveway. We had enough space for a basketball hoop. The kids have been asking for a basketball hoop since we moved in. Uncle Met hooked them up with a hoop that was on display in his store in Cedar City. We love it Uncle Met!

He fis fixing up the discus area at the high school he has been working very hard. The whole family got involved. Dace was so excited to find WORMS. He had a collection.
