I am part of a Relief Society book Club. It has been tons of fun reading different books. The books that are chosen are not always book I would pick to read. Sometimes I enjoy them, sometimes I don't. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins was this months book. HOLY STINK'N COW!!! It is so good. I started reading it yesterday and could not put it down. It is about the not so distant future (maybe 100-150 years.) How the government has reformed after a disaster. North America is split into 12 districts. To show how much control it has the government takes two children (ages 12-17) from each district to compete in the "Hunger Games". The games are a reality game show like Survivor on steroids. The children are dumped in a remote area with nothing. It is a battle to the death. The game is not over until there is only one left alive.
This book is a must read!
