Well, after much deliberation, I did it! It took me a few days to get used to but I am starting to love it. My only regret now is that I didn't go shorter. I may get it cut again. Taya cut her hair too. I am having more trouble getting used to her hair short than my own, but she loves it and that is all that matters.
Such a big moment! I remember crying as my mom cut off my long hair the summer after 2nd grade because I wouldn't keep it done up. It REALLY didn't help that the older siblings kept chanting "cut it off, cut it off.." while my beautiful hair piled around my feet. But then I liked it so much it was another 10 + years before I grew it out again! ha ha!
