"Disleeland"

I am afraid that this is going to be another of my "TOO MANY PICTURES" posts, but you can suffer through it. Our family had a terrific time in DISNEYLAND last week. We met up with the Johnson's and had a FABULOUS time. We spent 5, yes 5 days in the happiest place on earth, and loved every minute of it (well almost, if you don't count tired, hungry, whinny, kids and parents, and the loss of a cell phone - Ask Quade about that one.) We really did have a great time. Dace was exactly 40 inches and could go on most of the rides. My favorite part was listening in on Mason & Dace conversations. They are really cute -and smart-kiddos. The big kids spent most of the time running around on their own. The parents and little kiddies started the trip off with what I like to call Royd's Fanatasyland Blitz. We covered Fantasyland in under 30 min. Mason was running as fast as her little legs would take her, trying to keep up with Royd. We made it to everyone's favorites several times. Ultimately the trip was a success!

This poor little girl was trying to get her picture taken and Dace would not leave until I took his picture. After we left he asked "Did that girl get out of my picture?" Sorry bud but I think you were in hers!

Balloon FEST 2010

Our little fam is going camping and to the Balloon Fest this month. We have been getting a lot of questions about what is going on. Everyone and Anyone is invited to come for all or any of the the days. Our plan is to camp from Friday, June 25 - Friday, July 2. I know there are a few families that will be staying until after the 4th. Whatever will fit into you family's plans will be great. We will be camping the the same spot we did last year. For those of you who did not make it last year click HERE for last years post to get directions. As far as food we are going to keep it pretty simple. Just bring food for your family. I may be posting a schedule of the meals we are going to plan on later. Well I hope this answers a few questions. Let me know if you need more info!

Highlights from Puerta Vallarta

We had such a terrific time on vacation tis week. Royd and I flew to Nueva Vallarta (near Puerta Vallarta) for 7 days of pure bliss. We were joined by some very close and wonderful friends, and had the time of our lives. We stayed at an all inclusive resort where we were waited on like royalty. We enjoyed boat rides (well some of us enjoyed them -sorry Becky), traverse lines, repelling waterfalls, donkey rides, fresh shrimp tacos, beach veiws, snorkeling, and to many things to share in one post. Here are a few of the highlights.

Taya is 8

Taya had a fun birthday last month. We have been a little busy, but we did have time to eat cake and wish her a happy birthday. We love that girl. Her dad got her a new kitty, and a pink BB gun (story and pictures to be posted at a later date.) The real celebration will be on her baptism day.

What to wear?

Royd is taking me on vacation to Puerta Vallerta! We really haven't vacations tonz together as a couple. We always have the kiddos with us. We went to Jamaica 2 years ago with Jed and Annie. They will be joining us again, as well as, Ryan and Becky. Some new friends (Steve & Shiela) will adventure out with us. Now the big question is, what to wear!? When we went to Jamaica, I packed way too much, and not the right stuff. I ended up wearing my only two swimsuits over, and over, again. They are now almost completely worn out. I needed more swim suits. Modbe went out of business, and I searched St. George for a modest suit that was not to be found. So I resorted to the Internet. I found the answers to my prayers. Two modest swimsuit companies based out of UTAH. I placed an order. When I received the order, some of them didn't fit. I hate returning Internet orders. But, it just so happens that Royd and I were going to SLC the next weekend. I was able to visit the stores in person! I returned the suits for the right sizes. Now I am way too excited to leave. I have posted pic of my new suits. Also, links to the websites for anyone looking for some modest swimwear.











Now all I need is the body to go with them.

Play Time

Every year the Missula Children's Theater come to Enterprise to put on a production. This year they performed "Pinocchio". Quade and Taya both had parts in the play this year. They had so much fun. It took a lot of time, and a lot of work. They both really enjoyed it.

Quade was a street uchin who came to Geppetto to listen to his story.

Taya was a baby doll in Gepetto's work shop. She was adorable.
